Weekend Wrap up

Men
  • Will Yeatman tallied a hat trick in Notre Dame's 11-3 win over Brown.
  • Sean Burke had two goals and an assist and Michael Burns chipped in with a goal as North Carolina beat Johns Hopkins for the first time since 1994. Michael Kimmel scored twice and Steven Boyle had two assists for the Blue Jays in the loss.
  • Brian Carroll scored once in Virginia's 12-8 triumph over Maryland. Brian Phipps made 8 saves for the Terps, and Bryn Holmes scored once and won 7-of-9 face offs.
  • Billy Olin made his first career start and had 8 saves while facing 34 shots in Rutgers 6-4 loss to St. John's.
  • Max Quinzani scored twice and added an assist in Duke's 18-9 win over Bellarmine.
  • Andrew Brancaccio, Scott Kocis and Craig Dowd each scored once as Georgetown knocked off previously undefeated Navy 10-9.

    Women
  • Emily Schaknowski had 3 goals and Nicole Flego added two goals and two assists as Delaware extended its winning streak to four with a 16-15 victory over Towson.
  • Ali Flury had three goals in her return to Baltimore, but former club teammate Sam Schrum had two goals and an assist to lead Hopkins to the 15-13 win.
  • Kristen Taylor led all scorers with 4 goals and Megan Bosica chipped in with two goals and an assist as UNC upended BC 14-4.
  • Danielle Spencer scored twice and Katrina Dowd chipped in with one to help Northwestern rout Connecticut 22-4.
  • Boston U. defeated UMBC 15-7 behind two goals from Traci Landy.
  • Chelsea Kirk made four saves in Dartmouth's 17-5 win over Brown.
  • Brittany Kalkstein had four goals, but Duke upset Virginia in overtime, 19-18. Lindsay Gilbride had an assist for the Blue Devils.
