NCAA Quarterfinals Wrap Up

Men
  • Michael Kimmel scored twice and Michael Gvozden came on in relief to make one save as Hopkins advanced to the Final Four with a 14-6 win over Georgetown. Andrew Brancaccio had a goal for the Hoyas in the loss.
  • Max Quinzani had three goals and an assist to help lead Duke to a 19-11 victory over local rival North Carolina in the final NCAA Quarterfinal of the weekend. Sean Burke tallied two goals and Mike Burns had one for the Tar Heels.

    Women
  • Halley Quillinan had three goals, but it was not enough as Syracuse fell to #1 seed Northwestern, 14-9.
  • Ali DeLuca scored Pennsylvania's ninth and final goal in its comeback win over Maryland and setting up a rematch with Northwestern, which beat the Quakers earlier this year.
  • Kaitlin Duff had a goal and an assist and Brittany Kalkstein added a goal as Virginia advanced to Philadelphia by defeating North Carolina, 14-8. Jenn Russell had two goals, Kristen Taylor had a goal and an assist and Megan Bosica added a goal for the Tar Heels.
  • Danielle Kachulis scored one of Duke's 12 goals in its win over Johns Hopkins. Sam Schrum had a goal for the Blue Jays.
