Men

Grant Catalino had two goals and two assists and Ryan Young added a goal and an assist as Maryland advance to the second round with a 10-7 win over Denver. Brian Farrell and Bryn Holmes each had assists and Brian Phipps made six saves to earn the win for the Terps. Charley Dickenson scored a goal and dished out two assists, while his brother John tallied a goal.

Zach Brenneman was one of eight goal scorers for Notre Dame in their overtime win over Colgate.

Max Quinzani scored back-to-back goals less than a minute apart in the second quarter of Duke's 12-7 victory over Loyola. Matt Langan contributed an assist for the Greyhounds.

Shamel Bratton's goal in the third quarter helped Virginia overcome a three-goal deficit and tie the game at seven in a contest they would eventually win 10-9 over UMBC.

Josh Amidon tallied two goals, Joel White scored once, Jovan Miller won three-of-four faceoffs and John Galloway made eight saves in Syracuse's 20-3 win over Canisius.

Michael Kimmel had three goals and an assist, Steven Boyle contributed three assists and Michael Gvozden stopped nine shots as Johns Hopkins beat Hofstra, 10-4.

Women

Caitlyn McFadden had a goal and three assists and Brandi Jones added a goal in Maryland's 20-7 win over Temple.

Katrina Dowd's first of two goals ignited a second half 4-0 run by Northwestern to blow open a 5-5 tie at halftime and propel the Wildcats to a 15-7 victory. Brooke Matthews added a goal for NU.

Corey Donohoe had five goals, Megan Boscia added two goals and three assists, Kristen Taylor contributed a goal and an assist and Jenn Russell scored once as North Carolina upset Virginia 11-7. Kaitlin Duff had a goal and Brittany Kalkstein added two assists for the Cavaliers.

Lindsay Kilbride and Danielle Kachulis each scored twice, while Sarah Bullard added a goal and Emma Hamm had an assist in Duke's upset win over Georgetown. Ashby Kaestner had two goals, Allie Hubschmann scored once, Jordy Kirr had an assist and Caitlin Formby made five stops in goal for the Hoyas.

Halley Quillinan tallied four goals as Syracuse routed Towson, 21-9.

Ali DeLuca scored three times and Guilia Giordano added two goals and an assist in Pennsylvania's 16-7 win over Colgate. Colleen Bubnack scored twice for the Raiders.

Traci Landy tallied two goals and an assist in Boston U.'s victory over New Hampshire.

Kristen Morrison had a goal in Princeton's 14-10 win over Vanderbilt. Katherine Denkler and Carter Foote each scored once for the Commodores.
